Sir Richard Bentley's apartment was the location of an anomaly leading to the Future Rainforest, that allowed the Future Fungus to enter the present. Lloyd, Bentley's assistant, believed the anomaly to be a piece of modern art, wandered through and was infected with fungal spores. He managed to vomit them onto the floor of Bentleys office, before falling back through the anomaly, which then shut. These spores were passed on to Sir Richard Bentley. The flat was later cordoned off to safeguard against the spread of the Fungus creature.
