The North Sea is a stretch of sea seperating Great Britain and Scandanavia. As the Navy Admiral noted, it is one of the busiest submarine vectors on the planet. The Russians, the Americans and the Chinese "all sneak around playing hide and seek in those waters". An anomaly to the Jurassic opened there. (Episode 5.2)
