The campsite was that of a quad-biking site in forested countryside.

An Anomaly opened nearby and a herd of Embolotherium came through, endangering the nearby camp and prompting the Anomaly Research Centre team to come investigate. After the Anomaly closed, the Embolotherium that hadn't been sent back through stampeded and almost destroyed the camp, but were stopped and sent away when Helen Cutter (disguised as Eve) used an Anomaly Opening Device to open an Anomaly in front of the stampede.
