Ben Miller (born 24th February, 1966) is a actor and comedian. He portrays James Lester in Series 1, Series 2, Series 3, Series 4 and Series 5 of Primeval, as well as the spin-offs Primeval Evolved and the pre-Series 4 webisodes. Miller has also appeared in the movie Johnny English and more recently, the TV show Death in Paradise. He also made a special guest appearance in 2014 as The Sheriff of Nottingham in Doctor Who. He was married to Belinda Stewart-Wilson, who has also appeared in Primeval, playing Christine Johnson.
