An Arthropleura and hundreds of Carboniferous Arachnids came through an Anomaly into an abandoned bunker located beneath Arsenal Station in the Underground tunnels, and infested the bunker. The Home Office became aware of the incursion after the Arthropleura bit and poisoned a pest controller spraying the Arsenal Station tunnels, and James Lester subsequently had Arsenal Station closed down and evacuated to contain the creature incursion.

After the Carboniferous incursion was neutralised, the Home Office secured the Anomaly site beneath the Station to monitor the Anomaly.
