What if there has been an episode of the original Primeval that featured the Loch Ness monster.
Some might say that this could be a very bland episode featuring an already famous creature, the plesiosaurus, that would have been transformed into a man eating monster for the episode. However I don't think that this ipotetical episode would take that direction: Primeval has surprised us several time since it's begining, starting with the use in season one of relativly uknown creature and going on to depicting famous animal in particular situation in season tow. In season three there where a lot of sperimental episode with amazing creature and a solid storyline. Season four and five lost a little bit of that surprise effect, but they where still throwing at us some little bombshell: for example Spring Heeld Jack being a sick Raptor female lost in time.
For this many reason I think that an episode that would have feautured the Loch Ness monster would have been caracterized by a pletora of peculiar creature, with just a cameo from the plesiosaurus. Maybe in the Loch there is a Spaghetti Junction: that would explain why the description of the creature is always so different from time to time. I think that the main bad guy of the episode would have been a semi-acquatic beast but not something like a Deinosuchus or a Sarcosuchus, I think that the creature in question would have been a Dakosaurus, think of it: the fins of this animal are very primitive and reminisciant of arms and legs, so with the Daren Horley's ability of exagerating the creatures phisiology I think we could have ended up with a very scary looking crearture who would have been capable to go on land for very brief period of time. Or maybe the main big bad monster could have been a creature from the future completly based on some of the unusual rappresentation of monster.
